Coffee Bags Direct welcomes the news that REDCycle stockpiles have been saved from landfill by an offer made by Woolworths and Coles recently.
The Soft Plastics Taskforce which comprises major supermarkets in Australia has set out the roadmap for restoring soft plastics recycling.
After REDcycle regrettably announced the pause of the collection program in November 2022, many Australians were left wondering what the future held for sustainable packaging and recycling.
Following the Soft Plastics Taskforce meeting in March, return to store collection will be reintroduced as a transitional solution to divert more plastic packaging from landfill.
